Job Description
To execute the valuations strategy by ensuring provision of compliant and informative property valuations, checking the quality of valuations and managing liaisons with internal and external stakeholdersJob Responsibilities and requirements:
- Have a minimum of a relevant degree/diploma.
- Are registered as a Professional or Professional Associated valuer with the South African Council for the Property Valuation Profession (SACPVP)
- Have 3 to 5 years' experience in agricultural valuations.
- Have in-depth knowledge of agricultural and special agricultural valuation.
- Understand the methodology used when conducting agricultural valuations.
- Are knowledgeable in agricultural related legislative requirements.
- Identify market trends and serve as a subject matter expert by providing professional guidance and advice to stakeholders within the area of accountability.
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders across the area of specialisation.
- Promote a culture of teamwork, inclusivity, and professional excellence.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise operational processes and increase business value.
- Manage risks within the area of responsibility and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
- Compile, analyse, and present reports to support informed business decision-making.
- Contribute to the development of tactical strategies and implement supporting operational plans.
- Deliver high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders in accordance with established service standards.
- Determine market values for properties and conduct quality assurance reviews of valuation reports within the delegated mandate.
