PROJECT MANAGER
Location: Lakewood, WA
Position Status: Full Time, Hourly
Position Location: Onsite
Salary: $25 to $30 Depending on Experience
ABOUT THE POSITION
A Project Manager at Print NW oversees projects from beginning to end and serves as a key link between customers, Sales Representatives, and Production teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and ensure deadlines are met
- Work closely with Sales and customers to understand project requirements and expectations
- Coordinate with Production to ensure projects move smoothly through the manufacturing process
- Track project details, schedules, and information using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office programs
- Keep customers and Sales Representatives informed of project status and respond to questions
- Send and obtain approval on proofs before production
- Identify potential issues early and communicate solutions
- Maintain accurate project information and documentation
- Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Related Experience:
- Previous commercial printing experience is required
- Previous project management, customer service, or production coordination experience preferred
Required Competencies:
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including organizing data, maintaining spreadsheets, and tracking project information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and OneNote
- High level of accuracy, exceptional organization skills, and attention to detail
- Reliable attendance, excellent communication skills, and being a team player
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Physical Demands:
- Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and other computer-related tasks
- Extended periods of sitting while working at a computer workstation
- Periodic standing and walking to engage with team members and collaborate across departments
- Occasionally required to lift and move materials, products samples, or equipment weighing up to 25 pounds
