Do you have a passion for automotive estimating, negotiating with repair facilities, and being out in the field? We're looking for a skilled Field Auto Damage Adjuster to manage vehicle inspections, write accurate estimates, and deliver outstanding service to customers throughout the Jacksonville South and St. Augustine market.This is a highly visible, field-based role where you'll have the flexibility to plan your day, manage your territory, and work independently while partnering with customers, repair facilities, and claims professionals.
This is a field-based, territory-specific opportunity supporting the South Jacksonville and St Augustine areas. We are seeking a skilled Auto Field Appraiser with strong time management skills, hands-on experience using CCC ONE or similar estimating software, and proven negotiation skills. The ideal candidate demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering a positive, customer-focused experience.
As a Field Auto Damage Adjuster, you'll handle the full vehicle damage assessment process from start to finish, including:
Inspecting damaged vehicles in the field, at repair facilities, salvage yards, and customer locations
Writing and auditing comprehensive repair estimates using CCC ONE
Managing total loss evaluations, supplements, and repair negotiations
Partnering directly with repair facilities to resolve estimate discrepancies and reach fair settlements
Evaluating vehicle condition and determining the appropriate claim resolution
Documenting claim activity while ensuring compliance with company guidelines and industry standards
Planning and managing your daily schedule across an assigned territory
On average, adjusters handle approximately 4 claims per day (20 per week) while balancing field inspections and virtual claim-related activities.
Ideal candidates will have:
Strong auto damage estimating experience
Experience negotiating repairs and supplements with collision repair facilities
Hands-on familiarity with CCC ONE
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
The ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively
Solid understanding of repair procedures, vehicle construction, and total loss evaluations
Additional Desired Experience:
Collision repair shop estimating experience
Experience working with certified repair facilities
Knowledge of Tesla repair procedures and EV-related estimating considerations
Strong negotiation skills and confidence navigating complex repair discussions

Compensation
Compensation offered for this role is 28.03 - 42.99 per hour and is based on experience and qualifications.
