JOB SUMMARY: REV Entertainment, the official sports and entertainment company of the Texas Rangers is hiring an Accounting Intern. The Accounting Intern supports accounting operations for REV Entertainment by assisting with revenue recording, maintaining general ledger entries, and helping with various administrative and financial tasks. The position also involves contributing to special projects and providing general support to the department as needed. Ideal candidates are upper-level college students in accounting or finance with strong organizational, technical, and interpersonal skills.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, THE FOLLOWING:

• Assist with the overall recording and reconciliation event revenue 
• Input and maintain entries in General Ledger records
• Provide overall support to department by assisting with an array of accounting and administrative duties
• Assist management and staff with the implementation and coordination of special projects and assignments
• All other duties as assigned.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• College Students (Junior Level or Above), GPA of 3.0 (Minimum), actively enrolled in Accounting or Finance Scholastic Program or Course
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software products, including Excel
• Strong aptitude of basic accounting skills, highly organized and multi-tasked oriented  
• Demonstrates community involvement through volunteerism or similar activities
• Ability to work a minimum of 3 days per week; no less than 20 hours per week
• Willing to work flexible hours (evenings and weekends)
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
