Senior Professional Services Sourcing Specialist

As Senior Professional Services Sourcing Specialist, you will act as the procurement business partner for our corporate professional services spend, owning the sourcing and category strategy for services supporting all corporate functions across our regions. You will combine deep category expertise with strong stakeholder management to ensure these engagements deliver value, manage risk, and support the business as a trusted advisor rather than a transactional buyer. You will be part of our growing Indirect Procurement team, supporting the corporate functions.

Essential Job Functions:

• Join our Indirect Procurement team as the dedicated specialist for professional services, collaborating closely with fellow team members on shared processes and team-wide initiatives.
• Serve as the go-to procurement partner for corporate functions such as HR, Legal, Finance, Marketing, IT, and other functions, embedding early in planning discussions to shape sourcing strategy ahead of need.
• Own end-to-end sourcing for professional services spend across corporate functions, from consulting and advisory engagements to HR, legal, travel, marketing, and other business services.
• Lead negotiations on pricing, rate cards, fee structures, service levels, and contract terms with professional services providers, balancing cost, risk, and business need.
• Draft, review, and manage contracts and agreements with professional services providers, working closely with Legal to address risk, confidentiality, and compliance requirements.
• Develop and maintain category strategies for professional services spend, including should-cost models, market intelligence, and supplier segmentation.
• Manage the professional services supplier base: performance tracking, relationship management, and continuous improvement initiatives with key providers.
• Identify and deliver cost optimization and value creation opportunities across professional services categories, including renewal negotiations and demand consolidation.
• Ensure procurement governance and compliance are followed throughout the sourcing lifecycle, including approvals, documentation, and audit readiness.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Law, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in procurement or sourcing, with a clear focus on professional services categories spanning corporate functions.
• Working knowledge of typical professional services engagement models (retained, project-based, staff augmentation) and contract structures.
• Strong negotiation skills and a track record of managing supplier relationships and complex contracts.
• Confident stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build credibility and influence business leaders across functions and regions.
• Ability to own a category independently while working well as part of a team, sharing knowledge and collaborating with fellow specialists.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and pressure in a fast-paced, international environment.
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis; experience with ERP/procurement systems such as SAP is an advantage.
• Fluent English and German required; any other language skills are a plus.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills, with a structured, process-driven mindset.
