Job Description:

SCOPE: Under the direction of the Clinic Manager and Navigation Manager, coordinates new patient care/requests through new patient intake and scheduling for all physicians.  Facilitates the scheduling of all new patients with physician and nursing input along with patient access prior to their first appointment and works with navigation when appropriate.  Handles all outgoing referrals to outside physicians when applicable.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:                               

1. Coordinates new patient intake and care for all physicians    
2. Facilitates the scheduling of all new patients with Physician and nursing input along with patient access and SELROG physicians in accordance to acuity and need    
3. Oversee Special Procedures & assist with Gamma Knife Program    

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Registered Nurse
• 3 years of nursing experience in a clinic, Oncology nursing experience preferred
• Oncology clinic and/or infusion operations experience preferred
• OCN Certification preferred
