About this role

Join Emplify Health by Gundersen Hillsboro as an Emergency Services RN and provide compassionate, high-quality care in a rapidly changing environment. In this role, you will assess, plan, intervene, document, and evaluate care for patients with a wide range of needs. Your work supports our mission of empathy amplified by delivering safe, patient-centered care when it matters most.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with patients, families, and health care professionals to develop patient-centered plans of care.

• Provide competent and innovative patient care and education based on acuity and nursing judgment.

• Document assessments, interventions, implementation, and patient or family response.

• Evaluate patient progress and revise plans of care as needed.

• Delegate, supervise, and evaluate tasks performed by Techs within scope and policy.

• Accept accountability, seek feedback, and help resolve issues or conflicts.

• Practice in alignment with the Gundersen Health System mission, values, and Nursing Professional Framework.

• Demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize in a rapidly changing environment.

• Ensure patient safety.

What you will need

• Associate degree in Nursing, required.

• 2+ years working in an Emergency department setting, required.

• Valid Registered Nurse license in State of Wisconsin, required.

• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC for Health Care Providers certification, required.

• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced emergency care environment.
