This role will drive long-term technical strategy, architectural modernization, AI-enabled engineering practices, and platform capabilities while improving system reliability, scalability, developer productivity, and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mentor senior and staff engineers, influence technical direction, and promote a culture of engineering excellence, continuous improvement, and high-quality system design.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, with demonstrated experience driving technical strategy and architecture across multiple teams or organizational domains.
  • Deep experience designing, building, and evolving large-scale distributed systems, platform architectures, and cloud-based production environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, including cloud-native architecture, scalability, reliability, security, and cost optimization.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex and ambiguous environments, influence technical stakeholders, and drive alignment and execution across teams without direct authority.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with .NET full-stack and API development across frontend and backend technologies, with proficiency in Rust, C#, and/or JavaScript.

  • Deep expertise in observability, monitoring, distributed tracing, incident response, reliability engineering, and operational excellence.
  • Experience with modern authentication and authorization technologies, including OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and SAML, as well as secure coding and security architecture practices.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD, automated testing, progressive deployment strategies, and modern software delivery practices.
  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases and the architectural considerations involved in designing systems at scale.
