Job Summary
This role supports the Army Prepositioned Stocks - Four (APS-4) Program at Camp Carroll, Korea and Sagami General Depot, Japan. The Deputy Program Manager (DPM) ensures compliance with all safety, environmental, and KBR’s Zero Harm policies. The DPM assists the Program Manager (PM) and serves as the acting PM during his/her absence, overseeing entire KBR contractor operations and serving as the main point of contact.
Roles and Responsibilities
Manage a maintenance and supply COSIS supporting APS-4 Logistics Operations.
Maintain strong relationships and coordinate closely with customers and key stakeholders.
Ensure each department meets monthly and annual production goals.
Work with KBR HR on staffing, pay, discipline, and performance goals.
Ensure equipment is configured to meet APS-4 mission requirements.
Implement training programs to ensure staff are qualified to perform their duties.
Support planning and successful execution of Performance Work Statement (PWS) tasks.
Collaborate with customers on contract-related responsibilities.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards as they pertain to the entire program.
Oversee internal site audits for quality and procedural compliance.
Ensure all required reports (CDRL) are submitted and received on time.
Promote a safety-first culture (Zero Harm).
Support Key Leader Engagements (KLEs), equipment issues/receipts for unit draws, training, and real-world contingency missions.
Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
U.S. Citizen with a valid U.S. passport.
Possess an active Secret Clearance is mandatory.
Must qualify for US EXAPAT Invited Contractor Status and SOFA Visa (per USFK Reg 700-19).
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Operations, Business, or related Engineering field.
Equivalent military maintenance program and supply chain management experience may substitute for formal education.
Minimum 10 years of U.S. Army logistics support operations experience, including 7 years in program/project management experience with leadership responsibility.
Ability to follow all work methods, quality standards, and timelines.
Strong communication skills in English.
Proficiency with Microsoft Suites.
Critical and strategic thinking skills.
Must pass initial and periodic medical screenings.
Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
Prior military Logistics Officer, Warrant Officer, or Senior NCO.
Strong analytical skills for data compilation and trend analysis.
Completion of advanced leadership or certified project management courses (or equivalent).
