Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an exceptionally talented Project Commercial Manager to join our site-based construction supervision and project management team on a major public realm development in Diriyah, which includes a series of iconic and neighborhood parks, open spaces, and over 55 kilometers of streetscape. The objective of this program is to create a vibrant, inclusive environment that enhances livability, accessibility, and community well-being.
What You'll Be Doing:
Leading all commercial, contracts, and cost management activities for the project, ensuring alignment with client objectives and Parsons’ standards.
Administering FIDIC or similar forms of contract, including managing variations, claims, extensions of time, and dispute avoidance/resolution.
Overseeing procurement and contract awards, including preparation, review, and negotiation of contract documents, and coordination with legal and corporate teams as required.
Managing and validating payment certificates, invoices, and financial reporting, ensuring accurate cost capture and budget control.
Monitoring project budgets, forecasts, and cash flow, and providing regular commercial reports and dashboards to the client and senior management.
Establishing and maintaining robust change management processes, including evaluation, negotiation, and formalization of change orders.
Providing commercial risk assessments and mitigation strategies, and advising the project leadership on contractual and commercial risk exposure.
Leading and mentoring the commercial and quantity surveying team, ensuring consistent application of procedures, standards, and best practices.
Liaising with the client, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to resolve commercial issues and maintain strong working relationships.
Supporting project audits, compliance reviews, and internal governance requirements, ensuring adherence to Parsons and client policies.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quantity Surveying , Construction Contracts or related field
10+15 years of experience is required. Strong experience with FIDIC or similar forms of contract, including claims, variations, and dispute resolution.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Proven track record in cost management, contract administration, and commercial leadership on large-scale, multi‑package projects.
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to develop and defend well-reasoned commercial positions.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience managing multi‑cultural commercial/QS teams.
Ability to perform in a management capacity is also required
