A family in Stanford is looking for an excellent career nanny for our infant who will be 5.5 months old in mid-November. They would also like occasional help with their 4.5-year-old daughter who is in preschool full-time. Care will be primarily for the baby and responsibilities include planning age-appropriate activities, working on developmental milestones, preparing meals for the children, washing/sanitizing bottles, children's laundry, and light tidying.
Their ideal candidate is warm and engaging, familiar with early developmental, and has longevity with prior employers and is looking for their next long-term commitment (ideally 3+ years). Someone consistent, reliable, and punctual will be the best fit.
Experience Requirements
- 5 years minimum experience working as a private nanny with excellent verifiable references
- Longevity in prior positions (3+ years)
Educational Requirements
- Fluency in English
Qualifications
- COVID-vaccinated and current on the booster / willing to update
- TB and Tdap vaccinated
- CPR Certified
- Valid driver with clean record and reliable vehicle (family will reimburse for mileage and provide car seats if driving)
- Career nanny
- Consistent; adheres to baby's schedule
- Punctual and reliable
- Excellent communication
- Seeking longevity (ideally 3 years)
Responsibilities
- Care primarily for infant
- Occasional care for preschooler
- Engaging, planning activities for development
- Walk to local parks/playgrounds/classes
- Assist with transitions (nap schedule, solids, potty training, etc.)
- Cooking for the children (preparing preschooler's lunch; preparing solids for baby)
- Light tidying (children's bedrooms, play areas, common areas)
- Children's laundry
- Help with school pick up for preschooler (not required)
