We are currently seeking Financial Service Representatives to join our team at our new Romeoville Branch. As the first point of contact for our members, you will play a vital role in creating positive member experiences while assisting with a variety of financial transactions and services.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service to members 
• Process member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments
• Educate members on products and services that meet their financial needs
• Open new accounts and assist members with loan applications
• Balance and reconcile cash drawers daily
• Address member questions and concerns professionally and efficiently
• Maintain the confidentiality and security of member information
• Follow all credit union policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Promote ECU products and services based on members’ financial needs
• Serve members in a Member Service Representative capacity as needed

Schedule & Location Requirements

• Available Monday through Friday between 8:45 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. (occasional hours until 6:00 p.m.)
• Available Saturdays from 7:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
• The primary branch location will be Romeoville; however, based on business needs,employees may be required to work at any of our other five branch      locations:
  • Batavia
  • Oswego
  • Yorkville
  • Aurora
  • Montgomery

Requirements

• Previous credit union or banking experience
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) 
• Ability to become a Notary Public within 12 months of employment
• NMLS licensed or ability to obtain licensing
• Notary Public commission required within 90 days of employment.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
• Ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and empathy
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Cash-handling experience
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to collaborate and support others
