JOB DESCRIPTION           

POSITION SUMMARY: Feedline/Record Data Skilled 0002 - Goodlettsville Case Ready Plant

Schedule/Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-3:330pm

Pay: $21.85/HR

The Raw Material Inventory Coordinator is responsible for accurately issuing, tracking, and maintaining raw material inventory using the DLX system to support production operations. This position ensures inventory accuracy, records production usage, communicates inventory needs, and supports continuous product flow while adhering to food safety, quality, and safety standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Record and distribute raw material combos to production through the DLX inventory system.
  • Issue raw materials accurately to production lines and verify inventory transactions.
  • Deduct purge amounts from each combo as materials are issued to production.
  • Retrieve scale data for each completed combo and accurately record information in the DLX system.
  • Maintain production and inventory records using computer systems and required paperwork.
  • Monitor daily raw material inventory levels and communicate inventory status, shortages, and discrepancies to supervisors and production leadership.
  • Verify inventory movements and assist in resolving inventory discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with production teams to ensure a continuous flow of raw materials to support production schedules.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, leads, supervisors, and other departments regarding raw material needs and inventory issues.
  • Utilize radio communication to provide real-time updates and receive operational instructions.
  • Maintain organized and accurate documentation related to inventory transactions and raw material usage.
  • Follow all food safety, quality assurance, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and workplace safety requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and email communication.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately track inventory and production data.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with team members and management.
  • Ability to use radio communication equipment for operational updates and coordination.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accuracy and productivity.
  • Ability to obtain forklift certification and safely operate a forklift, or willingness to learn.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work in a fast-paced production environment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Must be able and willing to stand and walk for extended periods during the shift.
  • Must be able and willing to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as needed.
  • Must be able and willing to perform repetitive tasks and use computer equipment throughout the workday.
