The Senior Manager, Training Operations & Learning Systems is responsible for the operational infrastructure, governance, and execution of the global commercial learning ecosystem.
This role serves as the primary business owner and administrator of Seismic Learning and related learning technologies. The Senior Manager oversees LMS governance, curriculum infrastructure, content lifecycle management, global training calendars, event coordination, certifications, localization, learner data, and learning analytics.
The role acts as the operational hub connecting Training & Enablement with Commercial Leadership, Marketing, Product Management, Clinical, Service, Human Resources, Information Technology, Data Privacy, Compliance, and regional stakeholders.
Learning Systems and Governance
- Own the administration, governance, and operational management of Seismic Learning and related learning technologies.
- Manage platform structure, navigation, user permissions, groups, assignments, learning paths, certifications, curricula, workflows, and learning records.
- Establish standards for content quality, naming, metadata, tagging, publishing, version control, review, archiving, and learner experience.
- Partner with Information Technology, vendors, administrators, and regional stakeholders to resolve issues and support global expansion.
- Continuously improve platform usability, accessibility, automation, and adoption.
Curriculum and Content Infrastructure
- Maintain a structured curriculum catalog organized by role, competency, product, certification, business priority, and learner journey.
- Administer learning pathways developed by Training & Enablement program owners and subject-matter experts.
- Manage content intake, review, approval, publication, maintenance, translation, expiration, and retirement.
- Maintain clear content ownership, review cadence, source files, and version control.
- Create, edit, format, and publish LMS courses, videos, assessments, job aids, resource pages, and reinforcement materials.
- Use AI-enabled tools to improve content organization, production speed, communications, and operational efficiency.
Training Calendar and Event Operations
- Own the annual, quarterly, and monthly global commercial training calendar.
- Coordinate scheduling, registration, enrollment, communications, attendance, facilitators, materials, rooms, virtual platforms, travel logistics, pre-work, and post-work.
- Support onboarding cohorts, workshops, certifications, product launches, leadership programs, sales meetings, and regional training events.
- Maintain event playbooks, checklists, run-of-show templates, and closeout processes.
- Ensure training events are delivered professionally and aligned with business priorities.
Certification and Readiness Administration
- Administer certifications, assessments, learning milestones, recertification requirements, manager sign-offs, and readiness documentation.
- Maintain accurate completion and certification records.
- Track learner progression through onboarding, sales methodology, product, clinical, and continuing-development pathways.
- Provide managers and leaders with timely visibility into learner readiness, overdue actions, and capability gaps.
- Maintain appropriate documentation for audit, compliance, and business requirements.
Localization, Privacy, and Compliance
- Manage the translation and localization process, including source preparation, vendor coordination, regional review, approval, publication, and version maintenance.
- Maintain terminology standards and ensure translated content remains aligned with approved global source material.
- Partner with Data Privacy, Legal, Compliance, Quality, Human Resources, and Information Technology to protect learner data and training records.
- Support requirements related to access, consent, retention, recordings, assessments, and cross-border data processing.
- Escalate potential privacy, compliance, security, or governance risks.
Learning Analytics and Insights
- Develop reporting for learner engagement, completion, certification, assessment performance, attendance, pathway adoption, and content utilization.
- Provide recurring dashboards and insights to Training & Enablement and Commercial Leadership.
- Identify opportunities to improve learner engagement, content relevance, readiness, and platform adoption.
- Connect learning data with competency development, field readiness, and relevant commercial indicators.
- Produce actionable insights that support decisions rather than reporting only completion activity.
Process and Vendor Management
- Develop scalable operating procedures for LMS management, publishing, scheduling, events, certifications, reporting, translations, and stakeholder communications.
- Coordinate LMS, translation, production, and training vendors.
- Support purchase orders, invoices, service levels, timelines, quality, and budget tracking.
- Identify opportunities to automate workflows, reduce administrative burden, and improve global consistency.
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
- 8-10 years of experience in LMS administration, learning operations, training operations, enablement operations, or learning technology.
- Hands-on experience administering an enterprise LMS such as Seismic Learning, Cornerstone, SuccessFactors, Docebo, or a similar platform.
- Experience managing training calendars, events, certifications, learning paths, content libraries, assignments, and reporting.
- Experience coordinating multilingual content, localization, or global learning programs.
- Strong project-management, organizational, analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple global workstreams independently and maintain strong operational discipline.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in healthcare, diagnostics, medical technology, life sciences, or another regulated environment.
- Experience with Seismic Learning and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Forms, and Power BI.
- Experience supporting commercial training, sales enablement, product launches, clinical education, or field-readiness programs.
- Knowledge of learner-data privacy, accessibility, audit, and records-management requirements.

The base pay range for this position is:
$107,060 - $147,213Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
