Job Summary: The Product Merchandising Coordinator supports the accuracy, organization, and presentation of Kensington's travel product across internal systems and customer-facing platforms. This role owns tagging accuracy and metadata cleanliness, supports the merchandising calendar and day-to-day merchandising tasks, and uploads and curates content into our platforms. They also run regular audits and industry benchmarking, surfacing insights that inform merchandising decisions. Strong attention to detail, a structured approach, and a proactive mindset matter most here.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own tagging accuracy and metadata cleanliness across our product systems.
  • Input and update travel product information in our internal systems, ensuring everything is accurate and clearly presented.
  • Support the selection and upload of imagery that matches brand standards and strengthens the look of our itineraries and product pages.
  • Organize and tag imagery using digital asset tools such as Cloudinary.
  • Support the merchandising calendar and day-to-day merchandising tasks, including seasonal updates, content clean-ups, and merchandising projects as assigned.
  • Audit product content and tagging on a regular cadence, flagging inconsistencies and gaps.
  • Check content formatting and layout to ensure everything appears correctly online.
  • Support SEO fundamentals, including keywords, formatting, and image metadata.
  • Research and benchmark competitor product and industry trends, sharing insights that inform merchandising decisions.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations to enhance the customer shopping experience.
  • Use AI tools to speed up tagging, audits, and research.
  • Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Merchandising to keep content consistent and aligned.
  • Stay organized and track tasks and deadlines to meet team goals.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience In retail merchandising, preferably In the travel or hospitality industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially with data and metadata.
  • Structured, organized approach and comfort with tagging and quality-assurance work.
  • Solid grasp of visual asset sourcing, image curation, and working to brand standards.
  • Clear writing and editing skills for content review and light updates.
  • Familiarity with content management systems, Excel, and digital asset platforms.
  • Awareness of SEO fundamentals, including how content structure and imagery affect visibility.
  • Comfortable working with or learning AI tools to support tagging, audits, and task efficiency.
  • A team player and collaborative attitude with strong communication skills.
  • Interest in travel, merchandising, or digital content a plus.

We provide a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. Employees have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and compensation tied to business and individual performance. The expected compensation range for this position is: $40,000 to $50,000.

The actual compensation may vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
