The Director of Provider Compensation & Business Analytics is responsible for the development, oversight, and administration of the BILH Medical Group’s provider compensation program. The Director works with senior leadership to develop, implement, and administer compensation programs; oversees and prepares data and analytics related to compensation and productivity; and participates in key financial planning & analysis activities related to provider practices, including budgeting, forecasting, and business plan development. BILH Medical Group is a provider organization that includes over 1,300 physicians and advanced practice providers spanning primary care and over 30 specialties. This position reports to the COO of BILHMG and works closely with the Medical Group’s Financial Planning & Analysis team.

Job Description:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities including but not limited to:

1 Collaborate with Senior Leadership on the development, design, and implementation of provider compensation plans across the Medical Group enterprise. Support decision-making through analysis, benchmarking, and understanding of market trends. 2 Manage all aspects of the provider compensation program, including but not limited to: budgeting, forecasting, communication of plan changes, benchmarking, and support for Senior Leadership on related issues. 3 Design and oversee systems, processes, and tools, including databases and reports, that support the provider compensation program. 4 Provide market and internal compensation and productivity comparison data to medical and administrative leaders. Oversee provider productivity analyses and benchmarking. Develop and prepare regular reports for key stakeholders, including senior leadership and providers. 5 Support Senior Leadership with additional data and analysis as needed. 6 Ensure alignment between BILH MG’s provider compensation plan and strategic goals. 7 Manage agenda for and actively contribute to the Provider Compensation Committee. 8 Develop staff and manage Provider Compensation & Analytics team. 9 Oversee administration of compensation plans, including management of payments of leadership allocations and other variable compensation.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred


Licensure, Certification & Registration:


Experience: 8+ years’ leadership experience in a hospital, health system, consulting or physician practice with experience working with provider compensation plans. Physician practice operations or finance background.


Skills, Knowledge & Abilities: Good computer and excellent communication skills are a must. A general understanding of healthcare reimbursement and physician compensation are important as well. Well developed business and financial skills/acumen along with strong analytical orientation.

 

 

Pay Range:

$159,000.00 USD - $200,000.00 USD

The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
