OTC FINANCE MANAGER - EMEA CLAIMS

In this role you will work on:

·         Partnering with cross-functional teams, including external customers, Regional Sales and Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain.

·         Overseeing the team’s work to ensure procedures align with policy and maintaining strong relationships with Central Finance and Sales to drive high levels of satisfaction.

·         Performing account analysis, reconciliation, and reporting during month/quarter-end processes.

·         Managing key accounts by processing marketing and pricing claims/deductions, all in compliance with established program policies and procedures.

·         Driving continuous improvement by identifying opportunities and supporting process changes. Collaborating with Central Finance and other Finance and Sales teams to evaluate enhancements to existing processes and improve End-to-End service delivery to stakeholders.

·         Representing the Claims team at management meetings.

·         Acting as the primary point of contact for internal and external financial audits and reviews. Addressing audit findings to improve compliance and transaction accuracy.

·         Managing team tasks, delegating responsibilities, and steering team members towards achieving personal and team goals and KPIs.

·         Conducting staff meetings, preparing written instructions for work assignments, resolving disputes, and preparing narratives and statistical reports.

·         Serving as the point of contact for internal and external escalations while effectively managing stakeholder expectations.

·         Training staff in functional accounting and financial management skills, as well as optimizing the use of systems and reporting.

·         Serving as a backup when needed and providing support for the Claims team in handling complex transactions.

·         Identifying and addressing team personnel needs by collaborating with central units to promote financial training and recruit new team members.

·         Escalating questions and issues as needed to the OTC Senior Manager or appropriate Central Finance group.

 

Key Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.

·         Strong understanding of accrual accounting, excellent analytical skills for researching claims, and a keen ability to manage detailed information.

·         Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to stay highly organized and effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines.

·         Proficiency in Excel and Oracle.

·         Demonstrated strong collaborative skills, with an ability to work effectively across teams.

·         Innovation mindset, with a focus on leveraging AI for process improvements.

·         Previous experience in people management is desirable.
