The candidatre selected wil perform a variety of routine to intermediate structural design assignments for semiconductor manufacturing facilities and tool installation projects, with increasing responsibility, under the direction of a project engineer or department manager

Responsibilities

The following duties are typical of the position but are not all encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment.

• Efficiently extract and analyze various vendor technical documentation, engineering data, sketches, notes and other input materials provided in English to determine and plan the best approach to prepare drawings.
• Utilize AutoCAD and Revit to develop and oversee design templates, 3D models, drawing sheets, and structural details, ensuring accuracy, data integrity, and coordination across disciplines within the BIM environment.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance AutoCAD drawing templates, blocks, layer standards, and structural design tools specific to semiconductor facility requirements. 
• Prepare and review structural layouts, plans, elevations, sections, details, and drawing packages in accordance with project requirements and established design standards.
• Develop complex design modifications, field tie-in details, and constructability solutions for existing facilities, renovation projects, and expansions.
• Coordinate closely with structural engineers, project managers, discipline leads, architects, and other design disciplines to resolve design conflicts and maintain project schedules.
• Provide technical guidance, quality reviews, and day-to-day mentorship to junior designers and drafting staff.   
• Identify opportunities to improve drawing quality, modeling workflows, design efficiency, and BIM coordination practices.
• Apply discipline-specific design standards, applicable codes, project requirements, and industry best practices.
• Work with a high degree of independence, managing assigned design tasks and priorities while keeping project leadership informed of progress, risks, and required decisions.
• Perform routine designs including layouts, design plan views, elevation/section views
• Stay current with Revit updates, BIM workflows, and emerging design technologies to drive innovation and efficiency within the department.
• Works under minimum supervision with work effort occasionally checked during progress and reviewed upon completion.
• Work with a high degree of independence, managing assigned design tasks and priorities while keeping project leadership informed of progress, risks, and required decisions.
• Perform routine designs including layouts, design plan views, elevation/section views
• Stay current with Revit updates, BIM workflows, and emerging design technologies to drive innovation and efficiency within the department.
• Works under minimum supervision with work effort occasionally checked during progress and reviewed upon completion.

Qualifications

What You Will Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, civil engineering or other engineering design related major
• 10 + years as designer using both Revit and AutoCAD to produce engineering design packages
• Prior experience supporting large-scale industrial design projects, such as semiconductor, high-tech, manufacturing, automotive, or similar advanced facilities structural or architectural design and modeling.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, including the development and maintenance of drawing standards, templates, blocks, and layered drawing systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit, 3D modeling, template development, drawing production, and cross-discipline coordination.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation, engineering input, and vendor information to develop accurate and coordinated design deliverables.
• Solid understanding of structural drawing conventions, construction documents, and coordination requirements for industrial facilities.
• Advanced English is a must requirement
