Job Description:

The Manager, Brand Analytics & Insights, Rare Disease serves as a trusted analytics partner across multiple U.S. Rare Disease brand teams, driving data-informed decision making and commercial excellence. This role is responsible for translating complex data into actionable insights, shaping performance measurement strategies, and delivering analytics that influence brand, marketing, and commercial priorities.

The Manager leverages advanced analytics to identify opportunities, assess business performance, and support key business decisions. The role partners cross-functionally with Commercial, Marketing, Forecasting, Data Management, Operations, and external vendors to enhance analytics capabilities, optimize performance, and ensure insights are effectively integrated into strategic planning and execution. The role requires a proficient data analyst with effective communication skills to translate between business requirements and analytical specifications and is highly motivated to learn and collaborate in a cross-functional environment.

WHAT - Main Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain KPI frameworks and dashboards to support performance monitoring and data-driven decision making for U.S. RDBU brands
  • Conduct analyses using claims, prescription, specialty pharmacy/specialty distributor, sales, and customer engagement (CRM) datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and business performance drivers.
  • Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights through impactful presentations and executive-ready summaries for business stakeholders.
  • Serve as the analytics partner to Rare Disease brand teams, providing data-driven recommendations that support commercial and marketing objectives.
  • Proactively partner with Data Management, Data Operations, MDM, and external vendors to ensure high-quality, timely reporting and continuous process improvement.
  • Drive reporting efficiency and data quality initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline processes, enhance reporting capabilities, and improve data governance.
  • Support business reviews, forecasting, marketing, and commercial planning processes through ad hoc analyses and performance insights.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Commercial, Marketing, Operations, and other key stakeholders to align analytics deliverables with evolving business priorities.
  • Leverage analytics tools, data assets, and industry best practices to advance reporting capabilities and support informed decision making across the Rare Disease Business Unit.

HOW - Knowledge and Experience

Knowledge & Experience (essential):

  • Approximately 4-6 years in pharmaceutical/biotech analytics, insights, commercial analytics, or life sciences consultancy roles.
  • Proficient technical skills in modern analytics tech stack, such as SQL, advanced excel modelling, cloud-based analytics platforms, programming languages (python/R), visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Experience with pharmaceutical secondary data, claims, RWD, specialty pharmacy/distributor data, sales performance analytics, CRM/call data analysis; knowledge of MDM.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Strong project management skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment; agile mindset to pivot priorities to best service evolving business needs.

Education / Certifications:

  •  Bachelor’s Degree required in relevant field

Compensation

The annual base salary range for this position is $91,500 - $134,000

This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentives program. The pay range displayed above is the range of base pay compensation within which Ipsen expects to pay for this role at the time of this posting. Individual compensation within this range depends on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, prior education and experience, job-related knowledge and demonstrated skills.
