Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, monitor, and optimize production processes and production equipment to manufacture high-quality products.
- Perform quality checks, monitor process parameters, and take immediate corrective action when deviations occur.
- Change over and adjust machines during product changeovers and ensure the efficient continuation of the production process.
- Identify and resolve first-line equipment malfunctions, and perform minor maintenance and cleaning activities.
- Conduct basic laboratory and quality measurements and accurately record process data.
- Actively contribute to improvements in safety, quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with colleagues from Production, Maintenance, Logistics, and Process Technology, and help maintain a safe, clean, and organized working environment.
Qualifications:
- You have experience as a Process Operator and hold at least a VAPRO A diploma or an equivalent technical qualification.
- You have strong technical insight and are comfortable working with automated production systems.
- You possess good interpersonal and communication skills and enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues.
- You have a strong sense of responsibility and a keen focus on quality, safety, and results.
- Experience with process improvement and continuous improvement methodologies (such as Lean, 5S, and Kaizen) is considered an advantage.
- You are proficient in using computers and have experience with Microsoft Office; knowledge of Microsoft Access is a plus.
- You work independently and are proactive, flexible, hands-on, and motivated to further develop yourself and your team.
- You hold a forklift certificate and certifications such as VCA, BHV, or First Aid (EHBO), or you are willing to obtain them.
