Duties & responsibilities will be for the design & development of the electronic aspects of new products & enhancements to existing products. Will be involved in creating prototype electronic assemblies including schematics, components, creating BOMs & electronic circuit design. Embedded software experience is also necessary on most projects.

The ideal candidate will be qualified to degree level or equivalent and have a proven track record in hardware/software design environment. Be a talented and able to work in a multi-disciplined design & development team. Possess excellent interpersonal skills, problem solving and creativity skills, honesty and an eagerness to learn and a high level of personal motivation.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

1. Qualified to degree level or equivalent:
2. 3+ years’ experience in Hardware design including embedded software

Important design skills:

1. Circuit design: analog, measurement, digital
2. Embedded microprocessor system design
3. Embedded firmware development
4. Schematics and assembly drawings
5. Cadence Capture/Allegro
6. Legacy OrCad Layout for PC boards
7. Mostly C, C++ and embedded

Construction of prototypes and design enhancements:

1. Component specification & procurement
2. Schematic & firmware evolution
3. Design for manufacturing
4. Will do design verification testing
