The Corporate Communications Specialist, Asia Pacific supports the development and execution of communications initiatives that strengthen DuPont's reputation, engage employees, and support business priorities across the Asia Pacific region.
This role reports to Corporate Communications Manager, Asia Pacific, and partners closely with business and function stakeholders to develop compelling content, manage communication channels, and execute internal and external communications initiatives. The role plays an important part in translating global and regional priorities into effective local communications while ensuring alignment with DuPont's brand, messaging, and communication standards.
The successful candidate will combine strong communication skills, digital content expertise, and project coordination capabilities to help deliver impactful communications programs across multiple audiences.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Develop and Execute Communications Content
- Create, edit, translate, and localize communication materials for internal and external audiences to support corporate and business priorities across Asia Pacific.
- Coordinate content collection from businesses, functions, and sites to support storytelling and communications programs.
- Maintain communication calendars and content pipelines to ensure consistent and timely delivery.
- Support communication initiatives for selected businesses, as directed, including content development, channel execution, and project coordination to help advance business priorities in the region.
Manage Digital Communication Channels
- Manage day-to-day operation of DuPont corporate social media channels in Asia Pacific (e.g., WeChat), including content planning, development, and publishing.
- Evaluate channel performance and recommend improvements to strengthen audience reach and engagement.
Support Employee and External Communications
- Develop and execute employee communication initiatives that support culture, engagement, recognition, and business priorities.
- Create content for internal communication platforms, including Viva Engage and other employee communication channels.
- Coordinate communications support for employee events and engagement activities.
- Help showcase employee achievements, business milestones, community impact efforts, and innovation stories across the region.
- Support media engagement activities, including press releases, media interviews, and media events.
- Monitor and track media coverage as needed.
Coordinate Communications Projects and Agency Partners
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external agencies to deliver communication projects and campaigns.
- Coordinate production of communication assets, including presentations, videos, graphics, digital content, signage, and promotional materials.
- Support project planning, scheduling, budget tracking, and execution to ensure timely and effective delivery.
- Maintain communication assets, templates, and documentation to support efficient execution and knowledge sharing.
What Helps You Succeed in This Role
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, English, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in corporate communications, marketing communications, public relations, or a related communications discipline.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese.
- Experience developing content for digital and social media platforms.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across functions, businesses, and cultures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Preferred
- Experience supporting regional or multinational communications programs.
- Experience creating or editing visual and multimedia content, including graphics, short videos, presentations, and digital assets.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled content creation tools.
