Job Description:


This job is responsible for working on a portfolio of projects to support Operational Excellence and drive Responsible Growth. Key responsibilities include partnering with stakeholders to understand and provide insight into processes to optimize and manage operational efficiency and/or associated costs. Job expectations include participating in full project execution outlining processes/activities, associated talent, and cost outputs to drive solutions and improvements through standardization, automation, and other process improvement ideas.

Team Specific Job Description:

  • The Global Technology Financial Optimization team is part of the Global Technology and Operations Finance organization. The team enables Global Technology and Technology Finance by providing access to process and cost data, along with reporting that drives process improvement, cost transparency, and financial acumen.
  • This unique and non-traditional Finance role offers the opportunity to identify, lead, and support critical initiatives. Key responsibilities include supporting the production of the Technology Cost Bill, a critical report that provides transparency into Technology support costs and key metrics across Lines of Business. The role also manages and enhances the Jira Cost Dashboard, which helps Technology teams understand the costs associated with SDLC activities and deliverables.

Responsibilities:

  • Leverages analytical skills and business acumen to provide a fact based data set to key stakeholders
  • Participates in data assessment, collection, and analysis to assist in full project execution
  • Provides process and logistical support to leadership
  • Coordinates the sourcing, organization, and reporting of all data

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of accounting, finance, or business support experience
  • Strong business intelligence and analytics skills, with the ability to think strategically
  • Proven expertise in Alteryx and Tableau
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics in a clear and conversational manner
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, high volumes of work, and time-sensitive issues while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to remain focused and maximize time effectively
  • Demonstrated success delivering projects and producing accurate results with minimal direction
  • Strong relationship management skills with key business stakeholders
  • Proven ability to interact effectively with business partners and senior management
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with senior team members
  • Sound judgment to identify, raise, and escalate concerns when appropriate
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the CFO organization and related processes
  • Familiarity with Jira and Technology cost allocations
