Summary

In this hands-on production role, you will remove finished stone products from the production line, inspect them for quality, and stack them on pallets according to work order specifications. You will help ensure products are properly prepared, secured, and ready for shipment while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Role and Responsibilities

• Participate in the required stretching and warm-up program.
• Receive daily work assignments and direction from your Supervisor.
• Inspect tools and equipment to ensure they are safe and in proper working condition.
• Remove split stone from conveyor belts and confirm products meet required specifications.
• Trim stone as needed to meet product specifications.
• Sort and stack stone on pallets based on color, size, and quality requirements.
• Maintain established product quality standards throughout the production process.
• Band and wrap completed pallets to prepare them for transportation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Competencies

• Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure.
• Dependable and able to maintain consistent attendance and work performance.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to bend frequently throughout the workday.
• Comfortable performing repetitive, hands-on tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and product quality.
• Ability to adapt to changing work assignments and production environments.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to work independently when needed.

Work Conditions

• Work is generally performed in a production plant environment.
