Tell me more about this role, what would I be doing?

Summary:

The Team Resources (TR) Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the Team Resources department across a range of functions, including onboarding, managing employee records, HR reporting, day-to-day employee support, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures.

This role provides support to the team resource function as needed and must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality with sensitive and protected information. Must feel comfortable working with minimal supervision.

Essential Duties and Functions: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Adhere to a set schedule.
  • Other duties as assigned.

The TR Coordinator is responsible for assisting with all or part of these areas:

  • Facilitate new hire onboarding, including pre-employment paperwork, background and drug checks, and coordinating training sessions.
  • Coordinate with temporary staffing vendors or external partners as needed.
  • Maintains teammate records, ensuring completion and accuracy of details such as teammate contact information, job classification, pay rates, organizational structure, and other key details.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute frequent teammate engagement activities to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Assists in the execution of TR projects and initiatives aimed at improving TR processes, teammate engagement and organizational development.
  • Prepare and distribute TR related communications and announcements.
  • Plans and supports company-wide communications.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Produce and submit reports on general HR activities and assist in ad-hoc HR projects, such as collecting employee feedback.
  • Track and report key HR metrics such as turnover, headcount, and time-to-fill.
  • Provide administrative support to HR leadership, including scanning, filing, naming documents and preparing reports.
  • Pursues a course of personal, professional development.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Proficient with MS Office Suite
  • Exceptional telephone demeanor
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • 1 – 3 years’ experience in a similar position
  • Ability to use discretion, exercise good judgment and resourcefulness.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent education/work experience.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication and ability to resolve conflict.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
  • Previous experience in HR or administrative roles is preferred.
  • Responsible for personal ongoing development

Preferred:

  • 1+ years’ experience in Human Resources

Physical Requirements Necessary on a Regular Basis:

  • Manual dexterity, arm and upper body range of motion sufficient for use of a keyboard, mouse and telephone 7-8 hours per day
  • Speech and hearing sufficient for in-person and telephone communication 7-8 hours per day
  • Vision sufficient for use of a computer monitor.
  • Sedentary position. Ability to sit at a desk 7-8 hours per day.
  • Workers are not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
  • Lifting and/or carrying (<10 lbs.)
  • Manipulate small and/or large bulky objects
  • Standing, reaching, kneeling, stooping, bending, pushing and pulling may be required.

Pay Ranges:

Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including skills, experience, work location and more.  We offer competitive pay while still allowing for compensation growth within the position and company.
