The Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) – Quality will support quality assurance activities within the manufacturing environment, helping ensure products and processes meet established quality, regulatory, and business requirements. The role will provide hands-on exposure to quality systems, manufacturing processes, non-conformance investigations, documentation, and continuous improvement activities. Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Support quality assurance activities for manufacturing and engineering processes in accordance with established procedures and quality requirements.
Assist in monitoring process compliance and identifying opportunities to improve process effectiveness and efficiency.
Support investigations of product and process non-conformances, including data collection, basic failure analysis, root cause investigation, and follow-up of corrective actions.
Participate in corrective and preventive action (CAPA) and continuous improvement activities under the guidance of experienced Quality team members.
Support the preparation and maintenance of quality and process documentation, including procedures, work instructions, flowcharts, forms, templates, checklists, and worksheets.
Work with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams to support product and process improvement activities.
Analyse quality and manufacturing data to identify issues, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
Support assigned quality projects and other activities based on business and departmental priorities.
Build practical knowledge of GE HealthCare quality systems, manufacturing processes, and applicable quality and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline from an accredited university or college.
Ability to analyse information, identify problems, and support structured problem-solving activities.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to document findings clearly and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Willingness to learn quality systems, manufacturing processes, and regulatory requirements.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage assigned tasks effectively.
Demonstrated initiative, curiosity, and a continuous improvement mindset.
