As an Administrative Program Coordinator III supporting the DDI CME team, you will play a key role in coordinating a diverse portfolio of virtual and onsite educational programs designed to keep healthcare professionals current on the latest advances, practical skills, and best practices in digestive health. The DDI CME team manages a broad range of CME and non-CME offerings, including virtual education, Advanced IBD Fellows, APP and PharmD training through the MILESTONE brand, onsite and offsite symposia, wet and dry labs, APP and PharmD Immersion programs, Corporate Immersion programs, regularly scheduled series, industry-sponsored mini-fellowships, and regional and national meetings. In this role, you will manage complex projects and scheduling, identify opportunities to improve departmental efficiency, coordinate and document meetings, assist with presentations and data analysis, and support leadership with new and ongoing initiatives.

Working closely with the CME Manager, you will help plan, fund, execute, and reconcile educational programs while streamlining workflows, supporting informed decision-making, and promoting high-quality, relevant education in digestive health.

A caregiver in this role works remotely from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (flexible)

To be considered for this position, candidates must reside in the greater Northeast Ohio (NEO) area.

This position is primarily remote; however, caregivers are expected to be present for all onsite events, primarily at Main Campus and local venues, with occasional events at out-of-town locations.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

  • Function as a liaison and administrative, technical and operational resource.  

  • Research, analyze and organize information for presentations.  

  • Identify operational improvement opportunities to create an efficient workplace.  

  • Develop communications, databases and budget summaries.  

  • Assist on large, complicated projects.  

  • Initiate or lead moderately complex projects.  

  • Coordinate virtual education programming, including Hereditary LIVE and MILESTONE APP Journal Club.

  • Coordinate onsite dinner events, including APP Journal Club and Neuro GI Citywide Rounds.

  • Collaborate with team members to coordinate onsite events, including hands-on labs, fundraising, marketing, and faculty travel.

  • Coordinate APP/PharmD IBD Immersion Programs.

  • Manage regularly scheduled educational series.

  • Communicate with activity directors, guest faculty, registrants, and CME representatives, as applicable.

  • Manage event schedules and program timelines.

  • Secure sponsorships and grant funding to support educational programs.

  • Monitor deadlines and conduct timely follow-up with stakeholders.

  • Develop and coordinate program marketing, including e-promotions and social media.

  • Evaluate programs and assess outcomes to support continuous improvement.

 
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree and four years of financial, business analysis or project management experience  

  • OR High School Diploma/GED and eight years of experience  

  • OR Associate’s Degree and six years of experience 

  • OR Master’s degree and three years of experience 

  • Strong computer skills and experience with software applications 

  • May require a license based on department/institute needs 

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • Healthcare experience 

  • Experience in social media marketing

Physical Requirements:

  • High degree dexterity to operate office equipment.

  • May require extended periods of standing, walking or sitting.

  • Good visual acuity through normal or corrected vision.

Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
