Responsible for supporting MGB Health Plan Account Managers in delivering exceptional service to employer groups and broker partners. Serves as a key liaison between customers, brokers, and internal departments to address benefit-related questions, resolve issues, and ensure a positive client experience. Collaborates closely with teams across the organization, including Customer Service, Billing, Product, Operations, and Enrollment, to provide accurate and timely information. Participates in open enrollment activities and helps maintain strong customer and broker relationships that support client retention and satisfaction.
Essential Functions
-Support Account Managers in managing relationships with employer groups, brokers, and other key stakeholders.
-Serve as a primary resource for customer and broker inquiries regarding health plan benefits, eligibility, enrollment, billing, and operational processes.
-Coordinate with internal departments, including Customer Service, Billing, Product, Enrollment, Claims, and Operations, to research and resolve customer issues.
-Assist in preparing for and participating in client meetings, broker meetings, and open enrollment sessions, either virtually or in person.
-Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external partners to ensure timely communication and issue resolution.
-Track customer questions, requests, and service issues, ensuring appropriate follow-up and documentation.
-Support implementation activities for new and existing employer groups, including coordination of communications and operational readiness.
-Educate customers and brokers on plan offerings, benefits, programs, and available resources.
-Assist in the development and delivery of client-facing materials, presentations, and communications.
-Monitor customer trends and recurring issues, escalating concerns, and recommending process improvements to enhance the customer experience.
-Collaborate with Account Managers to support client retention efforts and promote overall customer satisfaction.
-Maintain knowledge of MGB Health Plan products, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to provide accurate information and guidance.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
Experience
- At least 1-2 years of business development experience required
- Sales experience preferred

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and solutions clearly and persuasively.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and navigate complex decision-making processes.

- This is a hybrid role that requires an on-site presence at Assembly Row at least 1x/quarter plus frequent travel to client events (including at night and on weekends), particularly during renewal season
