- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting employees, visitors, patients, and vendors at the front desk of a healthcare location.
- Manage visitor access by verifying identification, following site-specific entry procedures, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests to appropriate areas.
- Monitor front desk activity, access control systems, cameras, alarms, and other security-related equipment; report unusual activity according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
- Maintain accurate visitor logs, incident documentation, and required records while communicating professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least two years of security-related experience.
- Possess a valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
- Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
