Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute category strategies for assigned indirect spend categories, ensuring alignment with business goals, sustainability priorities and financial targets.
  • Own supplier selection, supplier segmentation and supplier performance management, establishing strategic partnerships that support long-term business growth.
  • Lead commercial negotiations, contract management and risk mitigation activities to optimise total cost of ownership, service performance and supply continuity.
  • Deliver annual savings, cost avoidance and working capital improvement targets through structured sourcing projects and supplier collaboration.
  • Lead sourcing and procurement activities for regional CAPEX projects, providing commercial expertise and ensuring alignment with procurement governance standards.
  • Drive implementation of procurement governance standards and standardised purchasing processes across all European sites.
  • Approve purchase orders and ensure compliance with agreed supplier contracts, procurement policies and separation of duties requirements.
  • Drive implementation of sustainability initiatives across assigned categories, including EcoVadis supplier programme for Indirect suppliers, supplier improvement plans and responsible sourcing objectives.
  • Identify and implement innovation opportunities through supplier partnerships while promoting knowledge sharing and best practice adoption across the European network.
  • Support D365 indirect procurement implementation, supplier onboarding, spend visibility and data quality improvements.
  • Develop and maintain supplier performance scorecards and lead supplier business reviews where appropriate.
  • Establish contingency plans and mitigation strategies to minimise supply disruption and commercial risk.
