Wage
- $16.00 per hour
What You'll Do
As a Housekeeper, you will play an important role in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests. Responsibilities include:
- Clean guest rooms, public areas, and offices using designated checklists.
- Perform a variety of cleaning tasks, including dusting lights, mirrors, furniture, and woodwork; vacuuming hallways, rooms, and entrances; polishing windows; making beds; and scrubbing bathroom fixtures.
- Replenish bathroom and guest supplies as requested.
- Monitor guest rooms, hallways, and lounge areas for wear and report recommendations to management.
- Participate in periodic staff meetings to discuss company policies, guest concerns, and opportunities to enhance service and efficiency.
- Clean common restrooms daily.
- Empty office trash, dust furniture, and vacuum office areas.
- Maintain clean and inviting entrances to the Guest Suites.
- Dust ceilings and corners to remove cobwebs.
- Clean interior windows in guest rooms and entrance doors.
- Complete linen exchanges by collecting clean linens from the loading dock and returning soiled linens for service.
- Vacuum lobby and atrium furniture.
- Dust walls and artwork throughout common hallways.
- Utilize the Service Request System to request maintenance and floor care services.
- Tag and document lost-and-found items by room number and date, then deliver them to the Guest Relations Desk.
- Assist in other assigned areas when occupancy levels are low and daily tasks are adjusted.
Qualifications✅
- High school diploma or GED preferred; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Schedule & Hours⏰
Part-Time
- Every other Saturday and Sunday
- 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- Holiday rotation required

Requirements
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.LANGUAGE SKILLS:Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other Team Members of the organization. Ability to use online electronic program for completing room readiness.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear and have the ability to climb a 10 foot ladder. Frequently required to climb or balance and taste or smell. Occasionally required to sit and must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. . Must be able to push/pull linen carts and housekeeping carts exceeding 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Regular attendance is required of this position as well as potential weekend and holiday hours.• Adhere to all WVC personnel policies, including but not limited to, those covering Privacy and Security in compliance with HIPAA regulations.• Always treat others with respect and courtesy in accordance with the Pledge of Common Courtesy.• Ability to work in an environment with exposure to guest’s pets.• During times of severe weather or other emergency, Team Members may be asked to work creative scheduling to ensure that immediate and necessary functions and services are provided to our residents. Team Members will be notified of the scheduling expectations as far in advance as possible.
