Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Intelligence & Financial Systems Analyst with expertise in Oracle Hyperion Business Tools and Microsoft Power BI to support enterprise financial planning, reporting, analytics, and decision-making initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining financial reporting solutions, dashboards, and planning applications that enable business stakeholders to gain actionable insights. This role requires a strong blend of finance, business intelligence, data analytics, and technical development capabilities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and support Hyperion Planning, Financial Management (HFM), Essbase, Financial Reporting (FR), and Smart View solutions.
• Develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic data models.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and Business teams to gather reporting and planning requirements.
• Perform data integration, validation, reconciliation, and financial data analysis.
• Optimize reporting processes and automate manual financial reporting activities.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, annual planning, forecasting, and budgeting cycles.
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide user support for Hyperion and Power BI platforms.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise data governance, security, and audit requirements.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive reporting modernization and continuous improvement initiatives.
  

Required Qualifications
7+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Hyperion Business Tools.

• Strong experience with: Hyperion Planning Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) Essbase Financial Reporting Studio Smart View
• 3+ years of experience developing Power BI reports, dashboards, and datasets.
• Proficiency in Power Query, DAX, data modeling, and report optimization.
• Experience integrating financial data from ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle EBS, Oracle Cloud ERP, or similar platforms.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and management reporting processes.
• Experience writing SQL queries and working with relational databases.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and data integration tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Oracle EPM Cloud (EPBCS, FCCS, ARCS, PCMCS).

• Experience integrating Hyperion solutions with cloud-based data platforms.
• Familiarity with Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or hybrid analytics environments.
• Knowledge of financial consolidation, close management, and regulatory reporting.
• Experience with Power BI Premium, Fabric, and advanced analytics capabilities.
• Exposure to Alteryx, Informatica, ODI, Data Factory, or similar integration tools.
• Understanding of data governance, SOX controls, and audit compliance requirements.
• Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Professional certifications such as: Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate Oracle Hyperion / EPM Certifications PMP or Agile Certifications
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise finance transformation initiatives.
  

Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, or a related field.

• Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), Finance, Information Systems, or related discipline preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education, certifications, and relevant work experience will be considered.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$101,970.00 - $203,940.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
