Underwriting & Pricing Manager
London (Hybrid - 1 day per week in the office)
Our client is seeking an experienced Underwriting & Pricing Manager to lead the development and performance of a profitable, growing non-life insurance portfolio. Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a high-profile role with responsibility for underwriting strategy, pricing governance, portfolio performance, product development, and new business support.
You will combine strong underwriting expertise with analytical and pricing capability, using data-driven insights to optimise performance across a diverse range of insurance products. Working closely with commercial teams and distribution partners, you'll play a key role in driving profitable growth and shaping future product opportunities.
Key requirements:
- Proven underwriting experience within non-life insurance
- Strong pricing and analytical capability, including working with large datasets
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong Excel skills and a commercial mindset
- CIP/ACII qualification advantageous
