Full Stack Engineering Lead - Oracle Cloud Engineering

Role Profile

We are seeking a Full Stack Engineering Lead - Oracle Cloud Engineering to lead the design, development, and support of Oracle Cloud integrations and Fusion/ORMB applications leveraging Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC/OICS), VBCS, Java and Groovy Scripts. The role requires strong expertise in Oracle Fusion architecture, enterprise integrations, cloud operations, and team leadership across global delivery environments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering secure, scalable, and resilient integration solutions, driving technical excellence, resolving complex production issues, and partnering with business and technology stakeholders to support strategic initiatives and continuous improvement.

 

Background

LSEG is undertaking a multi-year Finance/Billing Transformation Programme to simplify and modernize its Finance technology landscape. As part of this journey, LSEG is consolidating finance processes onto a unified cloud-based platform comprising Oracle Fusion ERP, EPM, EDM, OIC, and ORMB, enabling greater efficiency, standardization, and business value across the organization.

 

As a Full Stack Engineering Lead - Oracle Cloud Engineering will be responsible for:

• Partnering with business stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Designing, developing, and supporting integrations between Oracle Fusion Cloud and enterprise applications using OIC/OICS, VBCS, Java, Python, PL/SQL, and REST APIs.
• Defining integration architecture, data mapping, transformation, and API strategies to ensure secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions.
• Leading integration testing, deployment, production support, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Managing Oracle Support engagements, including Service Requests (SRs), issue resolution, and escalation management.
• Driving engineering best practices, including Agile delivery, code reviews, test-driven development, and DevOps principles.
• Providing technical leadership, mentoring development teams, and ensuring adherence to architecture and development standards.
• Collaborating with Architects, Product Owners, business stakeholders, and global teams to deliver strategic technology initiatives.
• Supporting Oracle Cloud, EBS R12, ORMB, and Cloud Customer environments while maintaining high availability, performance, and reliability.
• Building strong cross-functional relationships, demonstrating ownership, problem-solving, and influencing outcomes across organizational boundaries.
• Developing and supporting ORMB Service Groovy Scripts, Plug-ins, Algorithms, Business Objects, Batch Processing, UI Maps, and Integration Frameworks

Knowledge / Skills:

• Strong expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud, ORMB, OIC/OICS, VBCS, Java, Python, PL/SQL, REST APIs, and integration technologies.
• Good understanding of Finance business processes including R2R, P2P, O2C, and Billing/Revenue Management.
• Experience in integration architecture, data modelling, ETL design, API development, and enterprise reporting solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, DevOps, SDLC, CI/CD, and cloud-based application delivery.
• Relevant Oracle Fusion Cloud and/or OCI certifications preferred.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead distributed teams, mentor engineers, and influence cross-functional stakeholders.

Experience:

• 9+ years of IT experience, including Oracle Fusion Cloud, integration, and enterprise application development.
• Hands-on experience delivering at least one end-to-end Oracle Fusion, Cloud RMB implementation using OIC/OICS, Java, SOA, PL/SQL, VBCS, APIs, Groovy Scripts and ADW.
• Hands-on experience with ORMB Service Scripts, Plug-ins, Algorithms, Business Objects, Batch Processing, UI Maps, and Integration Frameworks.
• Finance business processes including R2R, P2P, O2C, and Billing/Revenue Management.
• Experience working within Finance Technology environments, preferably in large global or Financial Services organizations.
• Demonstrated success in driving availability, scalability, resiliency, monitoring, and continuous improvement of Oracle Cloud platforms.
• Experience collaborating with senior business leaders, architects, and global technology teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
