Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Wexford, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will contribute to a welcoming environment while responding to security-related needs with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established facility protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with directing visitors, patients, and staff while maintaining awareness of restricted areas and applicable access procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and interactions accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and facility personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Hospital vaccinations are required.
• Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
