Director of Business and People

At Inspired Living at Alpharetta, we believe taking care of our people is one of the most important things we do. We're looking for a Director of Business & People who is organized, approachable, and passionate about creating a great experience for our team members.

This role is perfect for an HR professional who loves people, problem-solving, and making things happen!

What You'll Do

• Support recruiting, hiring, background checks, and new hire onboarding.

• Create a warm, welcoming experience for new team members.

• Maintain accurate employee records, HRIS information, and I-9 documentation.

• Administer benefits and assist employees with questions about policies, benefits, and pay.

• Support employee relations, leave programs, Workers' Compensation, unemployment, and HR compliance.

• Process payroll accurately and help resolve payroll questions.

• Partner with leaders on hiring, coaching, performance, and employee relations.

• Prepare HR communications, employment offers, and team member announcements.

• Help plan employee events, celebrations, and recognition activities.

• Maintain confidentiality and stay current on HR best practices and employment requirements.

What You'll Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred.

• 3+ years of general HR experience required.

• HR experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality is a plus.

• Experience with payroll and HRIS systems.

• Strong Microsoft Office skills.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Previous supervisory experience preferred.

• Someone who is positive, dependable, detail-oriented, and genuinely enjoys helping people!
