Description
- Welcomes guests, renters, and program participants; provides event support, answers questions, and assists with facility or reservation needs throughout the event.
- Supports birthday parties and other hosted events, including food service, activities, transitions, supplies, and communication with parents, guardians, renters, or event contacts.
- Monitors assigned event and rental spaces to support a safe, organized, and positive guest experience and ensure facility guidelines are followed.
- Sets up rooms and event spaces based on reservations, programs, or event needs, including tables, chairs, decorations, supplies, equipment, and other requested items; ensures spaces are ready prior to scheduled use.
- Assists with food service, activity transitions, and communication with parents/guardians; maintains safety and organization during activities.
- Cleans and resets rooms after parties, including disinfecting surfaces, removing trash, organizing supplies, and preparing spaces for the next event.
- Provides backup support to programs or other recreation areas as assigned.
- Follows written and oral instructions, attends required trainings ormeetings, andupholds recreation center professionalism.
- Remains accessible via cell phone to address job-related issues or emergencies using City applications.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Relatable Work Experience: None required.
Training, Licenses, and Certifications: CPR, AED, and First Aid, or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire date.
Preferred Qualifications: Customer service or event experience. Event Planning or Facility Management Certification.
Disclaimer: Unless otherwise stated, applicants are permitted to substitute two years of related full-time experience for one year of higher education or one year of related higher education for two years of experience in order to meet the minimum requirements of the job. One year of full-time experience is defined as 30 or more hours worked per week for 12 months.
