Join Cross Country Education as a Licensed Mental Health Professional in Inglewood, CA, and help students overcome challenges, build positive coping skills, and feel supported both in and out of the classroom.
Position Overview
- Provide individual and/or small-group mental health counseling and therapeutic support to approximately 12 students.
- Assess student needs, develop appropriate treatment strategies, and monitor progress toward social-emotional and behavioral goals.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation, including progress notes and other required records, while protecting student confidentiality.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student well-being, classroom engagement, and overall academic success.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling Psychology, or a related field
- Valid California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) License
- Experience providing mental health or counseling services in a school setting, preferably with adolescents or students with diverse social-emotional needs
