Position Overview

The APEC Marketing Communications Specialist is responsible for leading integrated marketing communications programs across the Asia Pacific region.

Reporting to the Global Marketing Communications Leader, this role primarily supports the APEC Consumer & Industrial business while contributing to selected global campaigns, initiatives, and content development projects. The successful candidate will partner closely with regional and global stakeholders to develop marketing content, execute campaigns, support product launches, manage customer engagement programs, and enhance brand visibility.

The ideal candidate is an experienced B2B marketing communications professional with strong project management skills, excellent English communication capabilities, and experience working across regions and functions in a global organization.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Lead and execute integrated marketing communications programs across APEC, supporting business growth, product launches, customer engagement, and brand-building initiatives.
• Support selected global marketing initiatives and campaigns, partnering with global stakeholders to develop, adapt, and deploy content and communications across regions.
• Create compelling marketing content and communication assets for APEC and global initiatives, with the ability to adapt messaging, tone, and style for diverse audiences, including North American, European, and Asia Pacific business stakeholders.
• Develop and manage marketing content across multiple channels, including brochures, presentations, websites, videos, case studies, email campaigns, social media, trade shows, and thought leadership assets.
• Lead end-to-end project management of marketing communications initiatives, managing timelines, budgets, deliverables, approvals, and stakeholder alignment to ensure successful execution.
• Manage external agencies, creative partners, and vendors, including briefing, project oversight, quality review, and budget tracking.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product Management, Technical Service, Legal, Sustainability, Corporate Communications, and Digital Marketing, to deliver integrated marketing programs and ensure message consistency.
• Drive customer engagement activities, including tradeshows, conferences, webinars, seminars, and industry events, while ensuring alignment with business objectives and brand standards.
• Measure marketing effectiveness and optimize performance through campaign analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement of marketing communications activities.

What Helps You Succeed in This Role

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in marketing communications, digital marketing, corporate communications, or B2B marketing within a multinational environment.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, timelines, and budgets simultaneously.
• Proven experience developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
• Strong content development, copywriting, and storytelling skills, with experience creating customer-facing content across digital, print, video, event, and social media platforms.
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and work effectively across functions, regions, and global teams in a matrix organization.
• Experience managing external agencies, creative partners, digital vendors, and production suppliers.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret campaign performance data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Teams, with working knowledge of content management systems, marketing automation, social media, email marketing, and analytics platforms.
• Agency background in marketing communications, digital marketing, advertising, public relations, or content development is highly preferred.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and highly organized, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel within Asia Pacific as business needs require.

• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
