Openwork is hiring an experienced Forklift Warehouse Worker for an established, employee-owned distribution and fabrication company in Houston. This is a great opportunity for someone with forklift and warehouse experience who is dependable, safety-focused, and looking for stable, long-term work.
Position at a Glance
Location: Houston, TX 77095.
Pay: $19.00–$19.75 per hour | Weekly Pay.
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–3:30 PM.
Future Schedule: May transition to 6:30 AM–3:30 PM.
Overtime: As needed based on business needs.
Employment Type: Full-Time.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts.
- Load, unload, move, and stage materials.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders.
- Receive and inspect incoming materials.
- Stock and organize warehouse inventory.
- Use RF scanners or basic computer systems to track inventory.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
- 1+ year of forklift operating experience required.
- Sit-down and/or stand-up forklift experience.
- Warehouse, shipping/receiving, distribution, or material-handling experience preferred.
- RF scanner or basic computer experience preferred.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and safety.
- Reliable and consistent attendance.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well with a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Flexibility to work overtime and adjust to the future schedule if needed.
