As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and support a welcoming experience for employees, visitors, and drivers. Conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy Requirements.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or delivery documentation, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry records.
• Control access to freight areas, yards, docks, and other restricted locations in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, the business, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
