Dietary Aide

Dietary Aide | Elm Crest Senior Living Community | Harlan, IA

Do you enjoy helping others and creating a positive dining experience? Elm Crest Senior Living Community is seeking a full-time Dietary Aide to join our team. In this role, you'll support meal service operations and help ensure residents receive nutritious meals in a welcoming environment.

Our kitchen operates from 5:00 AM to 8:00 PM, seven days a week, and team members must be available to work scheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare dining areas before meal service
• Assist with serving food and beverages to residents and guests
• Transport meals to residents when needed
• Support kitchen staff with food preparation tasks
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining and food service areas
• Assist with dishwashing, stocking, and other kitchen duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work a flexible schedule within operating hours
• Availability for weekend and holiday shifts
• Reliable attendance and strong customer service skills

Preferred

• Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or dining services
• Experience working in a healthcare, senior living, or rehabilitation setting

Schedule

• Full-time position
• 40 hours per week
• Shifts scheduled between 5:00 AM and 8:00 PM
• Weekend and holiday rotation required
