El Operador de Mantenimiento de SPA es responsable de garantizar el correcto funcionamiento, limpieza técnica y mantenimiento preventivo y correctivo de las instalaciones y equipos que conforman el SPA, incluyendo áreas húmedas, cabinas de tratamiento, tinas de hidromasaje, saunas, baños de vapor, sistemas de aromaterapia, iluminación ambiental y equipos especializados.

Asegura que todas las instalaciones se encuentren en óptimas condiciones de funcionamiento, seguridad, limpieza y presentación, contribuyendo a crear un ambiente de bienestar y serenidad acorde con los estándares del hotel y a ofrecer una experiencia excepcional a cada huésped.

Asimismo, administra de manera correcta y oportuna los recursos materiales, herramientas y suministros bajo su responsabilidad, contribuyendo al mantenimiento, conservación y óptimo funcionamiento de las instalaciones.

Role

The Spa Maintenance Operator is responsible for ensuring the proper operation, technical cleaning, and preventive and corrective maintenance of the facilities and equipment throughout the SPA, including wet areas, treatment rooms, hot tubs, saunas, steam rooms, aromatherapy systems, ambient lighting, and specialized equipment.

Ensures that all facilities remain in optimal condition in terms of functionality, safety, cleanliness, and presentation, contributing to an environment of well-being and serenity in line with the hotel’s standards and delivering an exceptional experience to every guest.

Additionally, responsibly and efficiently manages the materials, tools, and supplies under their care, contributing to the proper maintenance, preservation, and optimal operation of the SPA facilities.

Responsabilidades

• Realizar inspecciones diarias de todas las áreas e instalaciones del SPA, incluyendo tinas, jacuzzis, saunas, baños de vapor, duchas, regaderas sensoriales, áreas húmedas, cabinas de masaje y equipos del gimnasio.
• Ejecutar mantenimiento preventivo y correctivo de equipos e instalaciones, incluyendo bombas, motores, filtros, sistemas de dosificación, paneles de control, luminarias y sistemas de regulación de temperatura.
• Supervisar y mantener la calidad del agua de jacuzzis y tinas, realizando mediciones de pH, cloro o bromo, alcalinidad y dureza, así como los ajustes necesarios de productos químicos conforme a los estándares establecidos.
• Verificar y garantizar el correcto funcionamiento de los sistemas de aromaterapia, cromoterapia y equipos especializados del SPA.
• Mantener en óptimas condiciones los sistemas de ventilación y extracción de las áreas húmedas, asegurando su funcionamiento eficiente y seguro.
• Registrar y mantener actualizadas las lecturas, bitácoras de mantenimiento, controles de calidad del agua y reportes sobre las condiciones de los equipos e instalaciones.
• Garantizar que las instalaciones y equipos cumplan con los estándares de higiene, seguridad y salubridad establecidos. Identificar, reportar y atender oportunamente cualquier falla, anomalía o condición que represente un riesgo para la seguridad y bienestar de huéspedes o colaboradores.
• Mantener una actitud de servicio, colaboración y atención al detalle, contribuyendo a preservar la tranquilidad, seguridad y excelencia que distinguen la experiencia del SPA.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of all SPA areas and facilities, including hot tubs, jacuzzis, saunas, steam rooms, showers, sensory showers, wet areas, treatment rooms, and gym equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and facilities, including pumps, motors, filters, dosing systems, control panels, lighting fixtures, and temperature regulation systems.
• Monitor and maintain the water quality of jacuzzis and hot tubs by measuring pH, chlorine or bromine, alkalinity, and hardness, and making the necessary chemical adjustments in accordance with established standards.
• Verify and ensure the proper operation of aromatherapy and chromotherapy systems, as well as specialized SPA equipment.
• Maintain ventilation and extraction systems in wet areas in optimal condition, ensuring efficient and safe operation.
• Accurately record and keep up to date all equipment readings, maintenance logs, water quality controls, and reports on the condition of equipment and facilities.
• Ensure that all facilities and equipment comply with established hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Promptly identify, report, and address any failure, anomaly, or condition that may pose a risk to the safety or well-being of guests or colleagues.
• Maintain a service-oriented, collaborative, and detail-focused approach, contributing to the tranquility, safety, and excellence that define the SPA experience.

Perfil del Candidato

• Experiencia: Mínimo 2 años de experiencia en mantenimiento general, preferentemente en hotelería de lujo, resorts o spas.
• Conocimientos técnicos: Conocimientos básicos de electricidad, plomería, bombas de agua y sistemas de filtración.
• Manejo de químicos: Conocimiento de los principales parámetros de calidad del agua y manejo seguro de productos químicos.
• Experiencia especializada: Deseable experiencia en operación y mantenimiento de tinas de hidromasaje, baños de vapor, saunas y equipos de bienestar.
• Condiciones de trabajo: Capacidad para desempeñarse de manera eficiente y segura en ambientes húmedos y de temperaturas elevadas.
• Atención al detalle: Capacidad para identificar oportunamente anomalías y mantener las instalaciones y equipos en óptimas condiciones de funcionamiento, seguridad y presentación.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in general maintenance, preferably within luxury hotels, resorts, or spas.
• Technical Knowledge: Basic knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, water pumps, and filtration systems.
• Chemical Handling: Knowledge of key water quality parameters and the safe handling and use of chemical products.
• Specialized Experience: Experience in the operation and maintenance of hot tubs, steam rooms, saunas, and wellness equipment is preferred.
• Working Conditions: Ability to work efficiently and safely in humid environments and elevated temperatures.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to promptly identify anomalies and maintain facilities and equipment in optimal condition in terms of functionality, safety, and presentation.
