SUMMARY (Why) – Purpose of the position

The Manager IT – APAC MES & Global SCADA is responsible for leading the adoption of the strategy, delivery, operations, and continuous improvement of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES Siemens eBR) across APAC and the Global SCADA technology portfolio.

This role provides leadership for a geographically distributed team and is accountable for execution of the manufacturing systems roadmap in the APAC region, operational excellence, stakeholder engagement, facilitate vendor management, ensuring compliance, and timely project delivery.

The position ensures business commitments, operational priorities, and technology initiatives are delivered with strong ownership, transparency, and accountability.

The role serves as the primary IT leader for APAC MES Siemens eBR capabilities and Global SCADA initiatives, partnering closely with MRMs and ISC Business stakeholders (Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Automation, Site Leadership), and Global IT stakeholders to ensure reliable, compliant, and scalable solutions supporting Vantive manufacturing operations worldwide.

The successful candidate combines strong leadership, program management discipline, business partnership, and technical understanding of in-scope manufacturing systems to drive performance through teams, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders and ultimately fasten Delivery in the Region.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (What)

•Lead, coach, develop and manage a distributed team supporting APAC MES and Global SCADA activities.

•Establish clear expectations, objectives, plan & resource allocation, governance, accountability, and performance measures for team members.

•Ensure clear and effective communication.

•Foster a culture of ownership, urgency, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the team.

•Develop strategy for extending knowledge of the team as needed.

•Build employee engagement and a high-performing team environment and establish a safe environment for team communication & collaboration.

•Ensure compliance with Vantive policies, procedures, and governance processes

•Ensure adherence to IT and Business committed strategy.

•Drive a continuous and successful relationship with strategic partners\vendors.
