Job Description
As a Security Officer Clearance Required Patrol in Aurora, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally, document security-related activity, and support a welcoming environment. - Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or guests at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior work areas, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
- Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor credentials as required, and maintain accurate visitor, incident, and patrol documentation.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Report security-related concerns, facility irregularities, and policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
Minimum Requirements:
- An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
