Job Description
Expert Advice on Managed Investments
Provide top-tier advice on managed investments and portfolio positioning.
Stay informed on market trends, competition, regulatory changes, and new opportunities.
Content Creation and Communication
Communicate investment views clearly and promptly.
Produce actionable content aligned with the house view.
Regular updates, publications, and ad-hoc specials.
Present concise, opportunity-driven content at meetings and conferences.
Advisory Book Management
Proactively manage the advisory book with a focus on risk.
Monitor activities to identify performance enhancement and risk mitigation opportunities.
Provide insights and guidance on focus lists.
Conduct data-driven analysis of the advisory book.
Contributing to Investment Views
Participate in team meetings and house view calls.
Engage in dialogue to develop shared, actionable investment outcomes.
Provide well-researched recommendations on market developments, risks, and opportunities.
Client and Prospecting Support
Collaborate with RMs for scalable client engagements.
Prepare and follow-up on investment proposals.
Engage other specialists as needed.
Entrepreneurship and Teamwork
Identify and execute initiatives to attract new RMs and clients.
Collaborate with Portfolio Management and Managed Solutions to support RMs.
Understand and assess demand for new product developments.
Optimize workflows and integrate quantitative and AI models.
Work with developers and Business Management to build effective processes and tools.
Requirements
▪ Educational background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field and financial analytical training and/or certifications such as CFA, CIIA, CAIA.
▪ Professional experience: Several years of relevant practical experience in investment advisory, portfolio management, or fund management.
▪ Track record: Proven ability to deliver results and build credibility through successful advisory work or project achievements appropriate to career stage.
▪ Technical skills: In-depth knowledge of all major asset classes and financial markets, paired with strong analytical skills, a solution-oriented mindset, and a passion for developing client-specific investment concepts. Excellent communication and networking skills with a professional demeanor in front of clients.
▪ Language skills: Fluent in English and the local language, with knowledge of other languages being an advantage.
