We are searching for the best talent for a Leader, Program Execution - Learn located in New Brunswick, NJ and Orlando, FL.
The Leader, Program Execution - Learn supports the planning, coordination, and day-to-day execution and oversees marketing of programs across the Leadership and Team Effectiveness (Thriving Teams) practices. Reporting into the Head of the Leadership portfolio, this role translates stakeholder needs into practical delivery plans and coordinates the people, processes, communications, and resources required to deliver high-quality learning experiences.
The Program Execution Leader partners with Leadership and Team Effectiveness practice teams, Talent Directors, Business Partners, facilitators, faculty, vendors, and the broader J&J Learn ecosystem. The role is accountable for consistent execution, a strong learner and stakeholder experience, operational discipline, and continuous improvement across multiple initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Stakeholder Consultation & Intake
- Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for Leadership Practice and Team Effectiveness requests, providing clear guidance on available solutions, implementation requirements, and next steps.
- Manage the intake, triage, and routing of requests based on business need, solution fit, capacity, and required support.
- Consult with stakeholders to clarify objectives, recommend solutions, and determine when practice leadership input or customization is needed.
- Translate stakeholder needs into clear delivery requirements, timelines, roles, and measures of success.
- Build effective working relationships with Talent Directors, HR partners, sector stakeholders, and business leaders.
Program Management & Delivery
- Manage end-to-end execution of leadership development, team effectiveness, and organizational capability-building initiatives, including programs, workshops, assessments, and learning experiences.
- Develop and maintain integrated delivery plans covering timelines, milestones, dependencies, communications, logistics, responsibilities, and risks.
- Align program specialists, coordinators, vendors, faculty, facilitators, and other delivery partners around objectives, roles, timelines, and business requirements.
- Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining delivery quality, learner outcomes, and stakeholder responsiveness.
- Monitor progress, resolve execution issues, and escalate risks, tradeoffs, or decisions to practice leaders as needed.
Program Resource Coordination
- Provide day-to-day direction to practice teams, vendors, and other resources.
- Establish priorities, roles, timelines, and expectations across assigned program resources.
- Monitor workload, capacity, and delivery progress, addressing barriers and adjusting assignments as needed.
- Standardize ways of working through shared templates, status routines, escalation paths, and documentation practices to strengthen execution and operational discipline.
Leadership Portfolio Support
- Partner with Leadership Portfolio leads to execute leadership development, coaching, feedback, and capability-building programs and experiences.
- Coordinate participant enrollment, scheduling, communications, faculty support, logistics, and other operational requirements.
- Support stakeholder engagement and governance through meeting preparation, decision tracking, and follow-up actions.
- Maintain program documentation, process guides, reporting inputs, and operational routines that enable consistent delivery at scale.
Team Effectiveness (Thriving Teams) Portfolio Support
- Partner with practice leads to coordinate the deployment and ongoing delivery of Team Effectiveness and Thriving Teams solutions, including intake, facilitator scheduling, stakeholder readiness, communications, and implementation.
- Coordinate Team Assessment Survey administration, data collection, reporting, and follow-up processes, as applicable.
- Support the adoption and sustainment of team effectiveness tools, practices, routines, and resources.
- Monitor demand, utilization, delivery capacity, and program performance to inform portfolio planning and execution.
Vendor & Partner Management
- Coordinate day-to-day activities with external vendors, faculty, coaches, facilitators, learning partners, and internal operations teams to ensure services, materials, communications, and learner experiences are delivered effectively.
- Manage scheduling, logistics, statements of work, purchase order inputs, delivery requirements, and operational follow-through.
- Monitor vendor deliverables and service quality, resolving or escalating issues when expectations are not met.
Effectiveness & Continuous Improvement
- Oversee marketing manager to ensure programs are effectively communicated and fully utilized; track participation, stakeholder feedback, operational performance, and learner experience data.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and summaries to support portfolio decisions.
- Identify delivery trends, recurring issues, risks, and opportunities to improve execution and stakeholder experience.
- Recommend practical improvements to processes, materials, communications, and program management routines.
- Support evaluation activities that help assess program effectiveness, adoption, and business relevance.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Certification or training in project management, organizational development, talent development, leadership development, or a related field preferred.
Experience
- 8+ years of experience in program or project management, learning and development, talent management, leadership development, organizational effectiveness, HR, or a related discipline.
- Experience coordinating program execution, timelines, stakeholders, risks, and cross-functional delivery partners.
- Proven experience leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to enhance personal productivity and/or department performance.
- Proven experience leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to enhance personal productivity and/or department performance.
- Experience supporting leadership development, team effectiveness, organizational development, learning, or talent initiatives preferred.
- Experience coordinating vendors, facilitators, faculty, coaches, or consulting partners preferred.
- Experience providing day-to-day direction or workload coordination to program resources is a plus.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$122,000.00 - $212,750.00Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation –120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year
Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
