Part Time - Senior HR Advisor - 15-Month Fixed-Term ContractSenior HR Advisor (15-Month Fixed-Term Contract)
About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join our ANZ People team on a 15-month fixed-term contract.
This role combines hands-on HR advisory support with exposure to business partnering activities. Working closely with leaders across the Australian & New Zealand business, you will provide practical HR advice, support employee relations matters, contribute to key people initiatives, and help deliver positive business outcomes.
This part-time opportunity (0.7 FTE, 26.25 hours per week) offers genuine flexibility and is ideally worked across four days per week, with the option to work within school hours. It's an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional looking to broaden their business partnering experience while remaining involved in operational HR activities.
What are my accountabilities?
Provide trusted HR advice, coaching and guidance to leaders and colleagues across a broad range of people matters, supporting effective decision-making and risk management.
Partner with leaders on complex employee relations matters, including performance management, investigations, disciplinary processes, workplace conflicts, and policy interpretation, ensuring compliance with Australian employment legislation and company policies.
Support workplace injury management and workers compensation matters through stakeholder coordination and case management support.
Contribute to workforce planning, HR reporting, people insights and the delivery of strategic HR projects and organisational initiatives.
Support the implementation of key people programs, governance activities and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the colleague experience and business outcomes.
Collaborate with the ANZ HR team on broader people initiatives, change activities and organisational projects aligned to business objectives.
About You
Previous experience as a Senior HR Advisor, HR Advisor, or HR Business Partner.
Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and employee relations practices.
Demonstrated experience managing complex employee relations matters.
Experience supporting workers compensation claims. We use and outsource model for Workers Compensation claims.
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Commercially minded with a practical, solutions-focused approach.
Strong written communication and case management skills.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Employment Relations, Business, or a related discipline.
