Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Reception Credential Desk in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will welcome tenants and visitors, manage access control, issue badges, and support a professional, secure environment. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and help address security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and employees at the front desk of a commercial real estate location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Monitor access to the location by greeting visitors, verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, and maintaining accurate visitor and contractor logs.
• Operate front desk communication systems, receive and direct calls, and provide general information or directions in a professional manner.
• Monitor security-related cameras, alarms, and access-control systems, and report unusual activity or equipment concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and completing required documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
