As a Field Specialist, you will be responsible for:
The Cementer (field Specialist) must carry out all the cementing and other allied jobs carried out with cementing unit during drilling of oil and gas wells. He must carry out following jobs and ensures that they are done within the recommended specifications, procedures and polices including but not limited to as listed below:
Casing cementation for all sizes of casing, Liner cementation for all sizes of liners, Stage cementation for all sizes of casings, BOP stack testing up to 15,000 psi or as required, Acid jobs and other allied jobs, Squeeze jobs, plug jobs and retainer jobs, Diesel pumping, packer and other pressure pumping jobs, Leak off test, Misc. Pressure testing up-to 15,000 psi.
Essential Responsibilities: -
The Cementer should be well conversant with all aspects of cementing and allied pumping jobs. The Cementer should have good knowledge about the use of cement additives, their functions and factors influencing slurry design. He should also be well conversant and experienced in operation & maintenance of reputed makes / types of Cementing units. He should also be well conversant in operation and maintenance of Batch Mixer, cement heads operations.

To be successful in this role you will have:
The Cementer should have passed at least SSC or equivalent and trade certificate from reputed vocational institute and should also have undergone basic training in Cementing in reputed cementing school, such as Halliburton / Dowell Schlumberger / BJ / IDT (ONGC) or any other reputed cementing school. Also, the cementer must have basic understanding in English language.
Have an experience of five (5) years of performing cementing services independently, out of which at least 2 years should be in offshore areas.
Desired Characteristics: -
The Cementer (field Specialist) deployed should be agile and of sound health to carry out vigorous operational & maintenance job of cementing unit. The Cementer deployed should not be more than 60 years of age.

National or Expat: Nationals are preferred / Expat can also join in case Nationals are not available
Alternative Marketing Titles: Cementer / Cementing Supervisor
Rotation: 42 / 21 approx.
Working Hours Per Day: 12 hrs.
Working Days Per Week: 7 days
Contract Duration: Regular
Number of positions needs to be filled – 24 positions
